The Defendant was involved in an altercation with his wife in November of 2008. The Defendant, who suffered from some medical issues, was alleged to have pushed his wife into the furniture. The alleged victim in the case did not go to the police to file a report until 19 days after the incident. The State Attorney filed battery charges and our client was summoned to address the charges. After preparing for hours and taking depositions which showed some inconsistencies in her statement, David Haenel and Darren Finebloom announced that they were ready for trial. On the morning of jury trial, the State Attorney dropped the charges.
