Manatee County Battery Charge Dropped Against AnneMarie Rizzo’s Client2009 MM 61 The Defendant was involved in an altercation with a family member. According to the police report, the Defendant pushed the victim into the shower and hit her aside the head. The victim signed a form expressing an interest to prosecute, but the state attorney did not feel they could prove the battery case beyond a reasonable doubt and thanks to AnneMarie Rizzo they declined to file charges.
